Christmas Party

On December 8th we had our Christmas Party!

We had many activities such as trivia, Jeopardy, and an ornament exchange. Here are some of the ornaments we received:

Holiday Service Projects

In November, Some sisters went over to the Westchester Apartments to do crafts and decorate cookies with the kids in the area. We listened to one of the kids play Christmas songs by ear. They were very adorable. Pictures to come soon!

On December 4th we went over to Piedmont Christian Home and played Bingo. The winners got quarters. They were all very friendly and we enjoyed their company.

On Wednesday December 8th, some sisters are able to go to the distribution center for Operation Christmas Child and help check packages that will be sent to needy children. ADT has defiantly been in the spirit of giving and service this holiday season! 

Scavenger Hunt

We had twenty sisters participate in a scavenger hunt on Friday November 12th. We meet int the UC to get our instructions and then went around campus and the high point area to gather what are clues requested. Some things we were asked to collect were a Chili's to go menu, a Target Shopping bag, a Grille Call in order form, a picture with a security guard and a picture on a treadmill. Boys and Girls Club

On November 5th some ADT sisters joined with the Civitan Club to help out at the Boys and Girls Club. We worked with kids in elementary school. Activities included bingo, face painting, trivia, and making cards. The kids were a blast and we all had a great time!

Halloween Party!

On October 29, we had an ADT Halloween Party! At the party we had coloring and costumes contests! Our winners included Ali Williams, Becky Gitlin and Heather Heath.  We had a great time dressing up and participating in festivities such as apple bobbing, donuts on a string, and candy! The night ended with fun refreshments and socializing!

Revelation!

On Thursday we had revelation dinner in the UC 2nd Floor. We had a great time matching all the littles to their Big Sisters. Throughout the week some of the littles received clues such as  a pint of birthday cake ice cream, a tennis ball, coloring pages, and a crunch bar. Congratulations to all the new bigs and littles!

Inductions

This semester we inducted 17 new sisters! We had inductions at the chapel. Now we have over 50 sisters! After break we will have spirit week and revelation dinner. Congratulations to all the new sisters!

Fall Semester

So far this semester Alpha Delta Theta has been in full force. Some sisters began the semester by participating in the Alzheimer's walk on Campus. Later in September sisters made a visit to the Baptist Children's Home where we helped to clean the grounds, plant new flowers, and paint the lawn furniture. Sisters also have been trained to begin volunteering at a local animal shelter.
