ADT Christmas Party and New 2011-2012 officers!!!

A few weeks ago, Alpha Delta Theta had a end-of-semester Christmas party and the new officers for 2011-2012 were inducted! We had lots of delicious food/ hot chocolate, and played some Christmas games!

Halloween!

For Halloween this year, we went to Life Community Church's halloween costume party on Saturday night! HPU hosted its annual Halloweenfest on Monday; we enjoyed all the yummy foods and the haunted tennis courts! Afterwards, we wentback to York and watched a Halloween movie!

Labor of Love-October 3rd, 2011

Today, we went to Abbott's Creek Missionary Baptist Church and helped with the event they host the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month: Labor of Love.

We provided a baked spaghetti and garlic bread meal for local families/individuals. We also gave them boxes full of canned goods to take home as well.

More Pledge Retreat!

Chilis Night for St. Jude

Today, we went to Chili's for dinner since it was St. Jude's Night. All of the proceeds from the night went directly to the hospital for research and treatment for the patients. This event served as a service and social. It was nice to eat a yummy dinner while helping others!

Pledge Retreat

We held pledge retreat this past weekend (Friday Sept 24 and 25) at Christ United Methodist Church. Our theme was Princess (You are a princess in God's eyes). Our pledge trainer, Elizabeth, did a great job with the weekend and everyone really enjoyed themselves!

Chapel Hosts

We hosted chapel and served as fellowship hosts during Greek Week. It was great to be able to represent Alpha Delta Theta for the rest of campus to see.

Open House Fall 2011

Yesterday, we had our Fall Open House put on by our pledge trainer, Elizabeth in the Slane Terrace Room. We had a great turnout with around 15 potential new members!

Cora, Robin and I all shared information regarding services, events and ADT's history. We also had testimonies from current sisters about what ADT has meant to them. We finished the night off with some socializing and snacks!

We're super excited to see what God has in store for us this semester!!

Bingo at Nursing Home

This past Saturday, we went to the local nursing home and played Bingo with the residents! They were super sweet and we had a ton of fun with them.
