Yellow Rose Formal

This past Saturday (April 16th 2011), we had our annual spring formal--the Yellow Rose Formal. Our theme was "Under the Stars". Kelsey did a great job decorating the Great Room accordingly. We had the regular lights dimmed, twinkily lights hung all around and a cool nighttime backdrop for picture taking. There were delicious fruit, veggie and cheese/crackers trays for everyone to enjoy. There was even a chocolate fountain! It was a fun night for all the sisters and their dates to enjoy!

Senior Dinner

This year, we started a new tradition of having a Senior Dinner for all the sisters that are graduating so soon! It was planned by our Social Coordinator, Kelsey and was executed by the junior sisters. It took place on Friday, April 8th at 6:30. The senior dinner consisted of a three course meal, the juniors speaking on how much the seniors have meant to them and how they impacted fellow sisters and ADT as a whole. There was also a photo slideshow with accompanying music. Finally, the seniors were given three gifts. They received scrapbooks that included pages that each sister made. These pages had special photos, memories, encouraging words and Bible verses. The seniors also got bookmarks and beautiful flowers!

Labor of Love- Spring 2011

On April 4th, 2011, we went to Bekah's church and helped with their Labor of Love ministry. We made a great spaghetti and garlic bread dinner for the local less fortunate to enjoy.

We also packed boxes full of nonperishable items for them to take home and share with their family. There was also an area where they could receive clothing.

We had a lot of fun serving others!

Habitat for Humanity-Spring 2011

On April 2nd, 2011, we helped out with the local Habitat for Humanity build!

We even suffered some injuries on the build--Robin had a band-aid on her forehead and a board fell on Amy's head (but nothing an ice-pack can't fix!)

Still, our wounded warriors carried on!

Big/Little Revelation Dinner

On March 22nd 2011, we had a delicious Chinese dinner and afterwards, our new pledges found out who their Bigs are! It was such a fun and exciting night!
